Children’s Treatment Centre

The Children’s Treatment Centre is a community-funded, agency providing assessment and therapeutic services to children who have experienced physical and/or sexual abuse and their families.

The Children’s Treatment Centre has a vacancy for the following full-time position:

Therapist

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of a Masters degree in Social Work or Psychology

• Must have clinical experience providing assessment and counseling services to children, adolescents and parents

• Must possess the ability to work cooperatively, productively and successfully within a multi-disciplinary therapy team

• Must have the ability to provide individual, family and group therapy to children and adolescents who were victims of sexual and/or physical abuse

• Must be able to provide individual therapy to a small number of mothers of children who attend the Centre with their children, and who were themselves victims of childhood sexual abuse
